Charly is a resourceful technologist with 25 years of international experience in the digital advertising industry. In the mid nineties, he founded one of Spain’s first digital agencies, Wysiwyg, which was acquired by the Publicis Groupe in 2010. Charly’s role has been to manage and nurture the technology team enabling him to search for new technologies and tools allowing the company to be at the forefront of technology based creativity and social media actions. Also during this period of time he has been actively coordinating international teams to support and participate in the pitch processes for key customer accounts, building and maintaining relationships between international offices to exchange technical and account knowledge. Specialized in capturing accounts via R+D centric initiatives that captivate the interest of clients and turned them into long term. Cases include Nokia, Movistar, Vodafone, Avis and Diesel. In his spare time Charly likes to get his hands dirty by helping to manage and commercialize desert race teams. He also likes implementing engine management systems into light weight Dakar buggy prototypes, searching for reliability and efficiency. Its all about picking the right people for their skills, motivating them to work together in a team under pressure in extreme situations, barren territory with limited resources and focussed on a common goal.
