San Francisco—January 9, 2013
Nurun is proud to announce the launch of the new Snapfish Cards App. Nurun’s San Francisco office developed the strategy, user experience, and design for the new app, which offers users a fun and easy way to create custom photo greeting cards for all occasions on iPad or iPhone.
“It was exciting working with Snapfish to help them redefine the card creation experience for the always mobile, smartphone age,” said Albert Poon, Director of Interaction Design at Nurun’s San Francisco office. “Modern card creators expect to easily make beautiful cards from whatever device is most convenient—whether they are on the go or relaxing on their couch.”
With the new Snapfish Cards app, users can design personalized greeting cards using pictures from Snapfish photo albums or from photo albums on iOS devices. Sophisticated, beautifully designed templates give cards a professional look, as well as the ability to add personal messages and handwritten signatures. The cards can be mailed directly to recipients, delivered to card creators, or picked up at one of 10,000 locations across the United States, including Walmart, Walgreens, and Meijer stores.
“Working with Nurun was a complete pleasure, as I knew it would be. When the Snapfish Mobile Team set out to create close working partnerships, Nurun was always at the top of my list,” said Shu Lai, Director of Mobile Design at Snapfish. “As we strive to create a world-class mobile ecosystem, I have no doubt that Nurun will be a critical component. Plus, they let me rant about design without complaint.”
Users in the United States can download the free Snapfish Cards app from the iTunes App Store. An international version of the app will be released later in 2014.
