Nurun in France reinforced its technical prowess with the appointment of its new Chief Technical Officer, Patrick Antivackis. An experienced professional with an engineering degree from INSA Strasbourg, he previously held the position of CTO at Valtech, where he managed technical projects and teams for the last nine years. Previously, he headed major projects for Total, Pernod Ricard and Chanel at Mdeo/Zentropy Partners (McCann Erickson) for five years.
His deep understanding of e-commerce, content management systems, and data systems, as well as his vast experience with a variety of technologies (php, java, .net, source frameworks) will allow him to effectively supervise all agency recommendations and technical project stages. With two assistant technical directors at his side, Patrick will drive and coordinate projects with more than 50 technical partners. He also will lead Nurun technical strategy (vision, innovation, R&D, training, operations, etc.) in France.
“My role is to bring technical and practical expertise to the table, from the initial recommendation to the final result. In an ever-changing digital world, it’s important to have a global vision of technical issues in order to offer the most innovative solutions possible to our clients,” said Antivackis.
With this new appointment, Nurun emphasizes the importance of—and its commitment to—the development of technological innovations that benefit clients and users, noted Steve Tremblay, Vice President, Technology, Corporate at Nurun, “Patrick’s arrival is excellent news for Nurun. His technological know-how and credentials coupled with his maturity in understanding the technical realities of our business will allow us to offer our clients agile, powerful and top-quality solutions.”
